Incorporated in 1819, the City of Columbia is a close-knit community of over 7,000 residents and is the county seat for Marion Couny, Mississippi, with a population of over 26,000.  Columbia hosts several events throughout the year including the annual Heritage Festival and the growing Experience Columbia Christmas celebrations.
