The Columbia School District is rich in its traditions of excellence in academics, athletics, the arts, and extracurricular activities. We believe in educating the whole child through experiential and hands-on learning. Our exceptional teachers are devoted to providing a challenging yet nurturing environment for our students from kindergarten through the 12th grade. The district has high expectations for student achievement and for employee professionalism. There is a tremendous sense of Wildcat pride among students, parents, alumni, and the community.
I love my wildcat school because I have the best teachers who care about me. I love that my friends and I get to experience fun events like football games, mini cheer camp, the musical, reward parties, and field trips.
Marion Jordan, Columbia Elementary School 5th grader

Devyn Peters, Columbia High School Student Body President 22-23
I walked these halls from kindergarten to 12th grade as a student, and now my own children are doing the same. I've taught here, I've coached here, and now as an administrator, I can attest that the Columbia School District is a remarkable place!
Dr. Jay Rayborn, Columbia Primary School Principal
In addition to the solid lineup of academic and extra-curricular opportunities for students, the Columbia School District has some of the most engaging, supportive, and caring teachers one could hope for. I am grateful to have had such wonderful teachers and friends who have nurtured me in so many ways along my educational path. Go Wildcats!
