• Granted permission for out-of-state travel.
• Accepted a gift of a HP Office Jet Fax/Copier/Scanner from the CPS, 2-3 PTA.
• Gave second approval of revisions to GCRD Fair Labor Standards Policy.
• Approved a request for the CHS Wildcat Booster Clubs to conduct fundraisers (Football Boosters - candy sale and Basketball Boosters - raffle).
• Approved a request from Mr. Joey Porter, Athletic Director, to host a Little Wildcat Basketball League for Columbia students in grades 3-6.
• Approved a request to close accounts at First Federal Bank for Savings.
• Approved one student expulsion recommendation and assigned four students to the Alternative Program.
• Accepted an employment resignation submitted by Joanna Villiard, teacher at Columbia High School, effective December 20, 2000.
• Approved the employment of the following persons: Connie Copeland, Math teacher at CHS; Jeffery Peters, janitor at CHS; and Larry Hancock, Stacy Anderson, Misti Broom, and Julie Pounds as substitute teachers.
• Heard a report from Superintendent Lyle which included the 2001 Trustee Election Calendar, school board member training, and other general matters.
• Received the monthly Financial Status Report.
