FORWARDING EMAIL
(We would suggest printing this page then following the instructions)
You may ask "Why would I want to do that?"
You would if you have an account on an email server other that the Columbia School District, you may want mail that comes to your CSD account to be forwarded to your other account so that all of your mail will be together.
You would if you wish to store all of your CSD mail on another server for archival purposes. For example you may have a Google Gmail account that you can send your mail to for searching in the future. Gmail has an excellent search tool which will search through the text of months of emails in seconds.
You can forward mail to as many accounts as you wish, and you can tell the system to save mail on your CSD account as well.
All we ask is that you periodically clean out your CSD mail account to conserve server space.
HOW TO DO IT
Go to the following URL https://mail.columbiaschools.org:20000
YOU WILL SEE THE SCREEN BELOW
Fill in your Username and Password for your EMAIL account and click "Login"
YOU WILL SEE THE SCREEN BELOW
Click on "Add a mail forwarding rule."
From the "Forward to" pull down menu, choose "Normal user mailbox" ONLY IF YOU WISH TO HAVE A COPY OF YOUR MAIL TO BE SENT TO YOUR CSD ACCOUNT. If you do not plan to check your CSD Mail account, IGNORE THIS STEP PLEASE!!!!
Click "Save"

Click "Add a mail forwarding rule." again

From the Forward to pull down box choose "Email Address". Enter the email address to which you want your email forwarded in the field to the right as shown above. DON'T SEND IT TO the address shown. Use the one you want all of your mail forwarded to.
Click "Save"
