WE HAVE A BRAND NEW MAIL SERVER AT CSD

STUDENTS - Your password is set to the new password that you will receive in August when you return to school. If you need it now, call Aleise Henery at the CSD Central Office. Have your SSN ready when you call. You will be asked for the last 4 digits only.

TEACHERS - Your new password is the same password that you used at school during the 2004 - 2005 school year.

DISTRICT ADMINISTRATORS - If your email account is not working, call Beverly for instructions. Since we did not have your password on any file, we were unable to make it the same as your old one on the new mail server.

     Check your email using our NEW Web interface. USE THE HELP OPTION if you have problems with some of the features. This interface is much better and faster than the interface on our old server. Try it out! You can check your mail from any Internet ready mail server IN THE WORLD.

     When using this site, you may be informed that the site is using an "Unknown Certificate". This is okay. The reason for the certificate is so that a hacker would be unable to get your password during Internet transmission.

     This page allows you to change your email password to anything you like. Be aware that it changes ONLY your email password. Other District passwords will remain the same. If you change this password, you will have to change the password on your email client program (Outlook Express, Entourage, Outlook, Eudora, Apple Mail ...) so that it will properly authenticate to the email server.

     This page allows you to forward your email to other email servers on the Internet. This would be especially useful if you normally check an email account other than your Columbia School District account. Simply FORWARD your CSD email to that account.

     Just keep in mind that all other Web Mail Servers such as Yahoo and Hotmail are blocked through the Web filtering system when you are inside the CSD network.
